requesting help with web space
Can anyone help me with some web space? I've been using different free servers untill now. The latest has been fine for about 3 weeks. But they just changed the config on their server and botched my site. My site is about music and tech subjects (programming, video editing, sound engineering).
Up untill now I've not been able to make this site build up, because I keep having to switch servers.

I have NO problem with putting ads/banners on my site for your company or such as Google ads. I don't really like popups though.

If possible I would like:
- 200~500 Mb disk space - the more the better (for musicians to swap ideas etc)
- 2Gb transfer (on my last site I didn't use more than 500Mb. But who knows what will happen
- PHP
- at least 1 MySQL database
- Maybe some kind of control panel to admin db and the like - but not a must.

I tried http://www.netrulon.com/ and they seemed good till about 24hrs. into rebuilding the site on thier server and I can't access my account anymore. This is the kind of stuff I want to avoid.

Am I required to post a minimum on your forums? Can I place the banner on my site, or will the server insert it? I would like to accomodate adverts and banners in an artistic manner. So it would be nice to be able to place a tag in my cms template.

Also, I've used a free service that required me to post before, but they went under. How long have you been in exsistence and how is business going? I don't want to be bother and make it difficult for you to make money. But I also don't want to build a community on a server that could disappear. I hope you understand my concerns. There are some questions that I am not authorised to answer.
As for existence duration we have been in operation since 2003.

The forums posting is to request for the hosting and not a min post requirement. It helps us trace the sign ups and the request more efficiently. We are not a post for host web hosting ccompany.
But we do requie you to place our sponosr ads on your sites.

And they don't put no require ads. I just need something more dependable than a free host. So I will put up ads, but I don't like it when my account gets terminiated or they change the server config to force me to upgrade to thier premium service. It's a little shady when companies do that. Though I do understand they need to generate revenue. That's why I'm asking for a favour - if someone can supply my request easily. Thanks.

Ah finally someone that understands that helping the host make money would also equal to the stability of the service provided and continuing existence of the hosting company
