No idea. I've got my site on sfera as well, also not backed up. But I've got most of my site on my other computer, so everythings saved but the forum.

I sent a note to haloevo via their deviantart account to see if they knew what was going on, but I haven't gotten a reply.

I'd also e-mailed customer support just before it went down with a request for a new password. They replied asking for more info and I haven't heard from them since.'

I've started looking for a new host, in case they don't come back.

What seems to be the problem? their whole site and servers just vanish??

That is why you should have your stuff backed up or at least on RAID 1 configuration.

Yeah... it's just... gone. Vanished. When you try to access anything on the domain sferahost.com you get one of those "page cannot be found" messages and such.

There was some talk on the forums that the host was being sold... but we were told we'd be informed ahead of time if it was, so we could back up our sites. I hadn't been online for a while, and when I came back, my time was limited, so I didn't check the sfera forum until I couldn't access my site or cpanel or anything all of a sudden.

gq gives good hosting , but only if he had cpanel ,i would kiss him lol .

anyway sfera is back , but thier cpanel doesnt work now ,i also dont have the back up of my forum yet, waiting for a miracle

The zpanel installer doesn't work in any system I've tried it on. I think it's only designed to move an archived site package into the destination directory anyway, it won't actually install the product. And it still doesn't do anything even though it claims it has.

Carefull GQ, lots of bugs in that software. I don't think it's a production ready script.
