I apologize for the broken URL. The forum antispam system refuses to allow links.

I am not using the services of 000webhost so I can't say about the web services of 000webhost. But from the online review of 000webhost I can say they are good service provider in this web hosting industry.

No George, they are FAR FROM good. - Their service is terrible and have a history of suspending accounts for what they feel is not minimal usage.

Consider first what are your qualifications of a good web host and then read reviews about the host you are most preferred to have. Look if it can provide you the hosting service you need. That's the only thing I could give to you friend.

I have tried way back when I made my website for fun. They are good enough to keep your site running. But I do recommend Paid Hosting for sites that are for businesses since it gives more support for your needs

I've heard quite a few bad things about them. I have no experience with them personally, however, so I can't say for sure whether you should avoid.

They are fine for small static sites not for CMS like Wordpress or Joomla. Also you need to get couple of hit per week or month to keep the account active.

000webhost started curtailing my activities when I was developing my website, any photos I uploaded were seriously "corrupted" to look so pixielated and stopped my mail() function script, that I just couldn't work on my website, luckily I went to another one, I am currently with these guys http://www.zymic.com/free-web-hosting/, though they wont allow my mail() function to work unless I pay for hosting

I hosted a website on their hosting service in spring.
After a couple of days got annoying popups opening over my website.
I have also read around that as soon as you start getting around 100 unique visits traffic your website is suspended.

It's pretty limited, but it doesn't throw ads on your site for you.
File size limit is a pain at times too, but you get what you pay for.

I've been using them for two or three years already and I think for small sites they are pretty comfortable. Server response is not extremely fast and sometimes there are periods (not long) when site is inaccessible - or when PHP code of site could not access database - but for low-load sites it is quite all right.
For few my ideas which supposedly require greater load and better response times I use payed hosting, but I still keep my accounts at 000webhost for many minor needs.

Yes, it is one of the oldest free hosting providers, have been with them since long time. I really do appreciate and I am amazed how they maintain their servers when they are giving all for free!
