Alternate ModeFXP fails with new router

hi, only just found this place, what a great resource!!!! for the past 2 days i been trying to get my ftp server working how i want it with my new router.

one of the main ways i transfer files, is using flashFXP to FXP to my RaidenFTPD server (both on same machine) and on the source sites i need to use "alternate mode FXP" which then uses the srvc data ports 22,23,80,443 to transfer files much faster than standard Pasv mode (only on certain source sites) (BBB)

anyway this has worked fine for years when using my bog standard usb modem, but a couple of days ago, i got a Netgear DG834G v2 gateway router.
Setup took 10minutes, no problems at all, web/irc/ftp/msn etc all working perfectly.

then i started up my raidenFTP server, forwarded the listen & data ports.

then i tried to login to the ftp via FlashFXP..
it wouldnt login using my WAN (internet IP) i had to login using LAN IP..
PASV mode transfers are fine, absolutley no problem at all, but PASV is no use for BBB FXP's

when i try an alternate mode FXP now,i get

the server and FTP app are latest registered versions, the router came shipped with latest firmware..
ive posted at all the respective forums FlashFXP, RaidenFTPD and netgear..
but no one has an idea..

ive now gone back to my USB modem for the time being, to see if i can find a solution before i sell the router..

the router is NAT & SPI firewall, i have no other firewall installed on the system.. ive tried forwarding every port on the PC at the same time.

the only reason i can think is that its nowbecause i cannot log into my FTP using the internet ip.. is there any way with this nat router i can get around that?

by the way the alternate mode FXP transfers i need to do, work perfectly from anyone outside my lan (internet clients), just i cannot do it from the same PC its running on,or LAN PC's here.. which is what i really need...

thanks for any help

kC

lol ignore me..
12 hours wasted yesterday, first thing i tried today and its working

just in case someone should come across this in the future

make sure to untick "use lan ip for lan users" in raidenFTPD
and untick "Passivemode" in the site manager of flash FXP for your local FTP

great Joy!!!!!!!!
