    Automate FTP Transfer easily?

    Hi,

I am looking for an FTP client or similar that will allow me to automate the following
    once a day:

-create a local directory based on todays date eg c:\12-7-11
-connect to ftp server eg ftp.remote.com
-change to a directory on the remote server eg : ftp.remote.com\docs
    -download files to c:\12-7-11
    -delete files on ftp server
    -disconnect

I have tried scrtipftp but it get's a bit to complicated for
me. Are there any ftp clients that let you do what i described
    but in an easier way?

    Cheers guys!

Assuming your server is running linux, you can use the ncftp client to do this from a script. If your server is windows I have no idea.
