Best FTP Server App

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a good /free FTP server application. I've been using a demo of Gene6 FTP Server but, now that the trials up and I've learned what I can from it I'm looking for one that I can keep and use. Also, if their are any really good ones out there that do cost a bit of money, please post them because I'd still like to take a look at those. Thank You.

Cerberus, or Bulletproof.

I've used Cerberus, and would recommend that one...

I use 9.95 FTP

9.95 FTP is a great FTP, you can save many different sites you may FTP to, etc. I have never had any issues with it and it has always done a great job. Though it is not free, as the name suggests, it is only $9.95. I think they do offer a free trial. Just a consideration, hope it helps.

Try WS_FTP Pro which allows a trial of 30 days. WS_FTP LE 95 and FileZilla is free forever, but the experience is not as enhanced as WS_FTP Pro. Build 9 has been released. Try CuteFTP Home 6 too.

Yeah! Perfect thread for me

If you want super advanced stuff, check out Ability FTP server. It's got everything you could ever want in it. Except Automatic Registration. Which I'm still trying to find.

So, take a look at Ability FTP Server.

Or if you need something insanely easy, check out LiteFTP/LiteServe. It's like...Check a box and add your directories.
