Can configure Apache to accept ftp?

I want to make it where Apache accepts ftp requests. This is so people can update their webpages automatically using the "compose" feature on Mozilla. Is there a way of doing this without getting an ftp server? If I must get an ftp server do you have any recommendations on which one and possible configurations that will fit in nicely with Apache?

Thanks

Yes, if it (Mozilla) also supports HTTP-PUT method, WebDAV or similar. They are built in or available as module for apache.

Which ftp server to use depends on your OS, any can do the job. Apache does not care at all.
For unix, I'd recommend proftpd and I vote strongly against Wu-FTPd ("offering remote root access for everybody to your box for over 10 years..." LOL)
