CHMOD problem
For some reason, FTP is showing a directory to be CHMODDED to 755 but files in the root directory aren't getting that, as you can see here. I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but why the heck is it doing this and how do I fix it?
Cheers for any help. |

Changing a directory's permissions does not affect the files within it. You need to individually set the permissions on each file. Some FTP clients will allow you to recursively set permissions though, which can be a big time saver.

Thanks for the suggestion, but the directory and the file are both 755.
However, the original error message is gone now anyway so I guess it doesn't matter...=/ Thanks. |
