conservating tar headers in ftp download
Hello again,
This is the continuation of my earlier post but it really is a different topic: So if i download manually a .tar.gz file all your solutions work perfectly (and i thank you again), BUT if i use the usual ftp retrbinary command to save a .tar.gz file linux sees it as a data file (when i use the command "file") and not a gzip. Seems python modifies something in the file header or something that indicates it is a gzip file... Could you help me on this little problem again please? Thanks erwin |
