Creditcard info over ftp

Hello, I wa wondering if it would be safe to transfer creditcard information over proftpd (does it run ssh hidden). If not, then in order to use ssh, is there a graphical user interface in which newbies can use? ALso it said somwhere that the clients need to install sh on their machine, where can they get that? Please correct me i am misunderstood.

Thanx for your time.

... this really makes me afraid of using any online shop...

Stop here and don't even think any further about implementing it yourself. With the level of competence you have just shown, you *will* fvck it up.

CC transactions is nothing that kids should play with. Talk to your bank and get an external provider for the CC transactions. Otherwise you will probably need a good lawyer very soon...

You can't learn everything you lack about security in a few weeks or months. Please, please, don't do it.

M.

SSL not SSH would be the way to do things but like M.Hirsh said, leave it to the pros.

I could probably do such a setup but would never want to just in case I was to do something wrong.
Seriously, find a payment gateway to deal with it for you.
