Denying groups in VSFTPd?
I need to deny access to FTP to a certain GID (group) using VSFTPd. Does anybody know how to do this? There are a few places you can ban UIDs (users) but nowhere to ban a GID that I can find.
I know WU-FTPd supports this, but I'd rather stick with the faster, more secure, and easier to set up vsftpd. Though I may have no choice and have to switch ![]() |

*bump*
If this issue is not resolved, it's off to WU-FTPd for me. |

There's probably nobody here that knows vsftpd well enough to help you. Try e-mailing the developer (chris@scary.beasts.org) directly.
