Disable FTP Transversing
Is there a way to do this? We had it working before. We redid the server and now our ftp clients can transverse up the directory tree to see the root drive and all the other clients files! How do I unallow this? Im running iis 5. Can anybody help? Thanks in advance!

I think there is some info on secure FTP and IIS on www.iisfaq.com
I don't know the answer myself but it sounds like you have some incorrect permissions somewhere. |

They tell me how to do it, but I dont want my clients to be able to view other clients folders. They cant view the contents, but I dont want they to be able to traverse up from their folder at all.

I don't use IIS FTP. There are some 3rd party alternatives that are supposedly much better than IIS FTP. For my network any FTP is to a linux box.
