    Drag and drop FTP embed...

I want to allow my users to drag and drop files or whole folders into an area on a webpage and have the file/folder transferred to the site via FTP. I am familiar with php, html, and ftp.

Any scripts or open source ware that can do this?

    Thanks in advance.

It can't be done in PHP or HTML, you'll need to use either Flash or Java to do it. I've never actually seen one that supports drag and drop though, so it's possible that that isn't possible with Flash or Java either.

This requires a custom solution to be developed. Drap & Drop in a web browser is no easy task, the problem usually comes in making it work universally across browsers. An alternative is to use a Java applet which allows drap & drop from the 'local system' to the 'remote system'.
