    with my code, he could just continue copy it or move_uploaded_file(safe mode) or you could just do something like
    PHP Code:
    $fp fopen("uploads/".$_HTTP_POST_FILES['forminput']['tmp_name'], "w"); //Make the file if doesn't exist, correct
    fwrite($fp$Content.$Whatever);
    fclose($fp);

    Yea I know, just wanted to see how far you will actually go writing code without any feedback from thread originator and little information It's 15 replies so far just beating around the bush, most of complicated threads don't get so many posts
    And you know I mean that.

    attn: AlCapone / Adman

    >>Hold up, here's what I gathered from original post - steveup >>wants users to upload ascii file from their hdd to his server, >>put some info from form in the beginning of file (may be name/date?) and then upload it to remote ftp server for storage or public access. How far am I off on this one?

    This is exactly what I want. I'll check out some of Adman's suggestions when I get to work....

    Thanks to both of you guys for your help so far....
