FreeBSD ftp using proxy
I have a Unix FreeBSD box which I would like to use to connect to the CVS website. I have to go though a Windows proxy server because of hardware restrictions. When I try to use the CVS software to obtain updates and new port software I recieve a notice that "no DNS server can be found". My Unix ftp software is connecting to the proxy and the proxy is forwarding the request using port 21. Can someone Help.
