FTP Access Denied
Hi guys,

I'm having problem with my FTP server. I'm using IIS 6 (Windows 2003 Server).

I go to DOS-Prompt and entered: FTP Localhost
I get: Access Denied

I go to run command and entered: ftp.exe
I get:
Window can't access this file, path or device. You may not have appropriate access to this folder.
Operation timed out.

I have no firewall running on the server while I was testing the FTP site.

The account IUSR_MyServerName has full control of the FTP folder as well as in IIS Manager.

I have configured port forwarding to port 21 on my router to ensure the router forwards all FTP requests to my server.

I couldn't figure out what's going on. Please help. Thanks.

Smile I got my red hat linux release 9 installed and working with telnet & need ftp to work
Hi

I just got my red hat release 9 linux to allow anyone to connect to my server now i want it to allow users to ftp to it and every time i try to ftp to it says login failed and connection refused. and i am using ws_ftp le and i can not ftp to it so what do i need to do to make it so i and others can ftp to it?

Hi, I am having a the same problem with win2000 and ftp. Can I ask if you managed to solve the problem?
