FTP Clients...
I'm interested in what type of FTP clients people are using.

I had tried out the WS_FTP Pro 9.01, and I liked it quite a bit, I used it to connect to my server using SFTP over SSH 2.0. But the trial ran out, and the +$100 price is above my purchase level.

I'm playing with SmartFTP, but it doesn't seem to have SFTP over SSH 2.0 ability.

I'm not averse to paying, but of course free is always nice...

Suggestions?

I've always liked FileZilla. It has support for most modern ftp features, including SFTP. I've never used the secure functions, though, so I don't know how well they work. Oh, it's completely free, also.
