FTP Linux to Windows
I have an ftp site running under IIS (Windows) and I am able to connect to it by using another windows computer and I am even able to connect to it using command line prompt in my linux (Fedora) box but when I use Mozilla in my linux box to ftp to my windows IIS server I get an error. I am using ftp://name@url.com. I then enter my password in the pop up box and then I get 426 connection closed; transfer aborted. Can anybody help?

What does the IIS log say is happening?
C:\WINNT\System32\LogFiles\W3SVC1 or C:\WINDOWS\System32\LogFiles\W3SVC1 For what it's worth I've got a standard IIS 5.0 server running on Windows 2000 Server, sitting at 192.168.0.1, and I'm able to use "ftp://bmschkerke@192.168.0.1/" inside of Mozilla 1.4. So it's fixable, whatever it is. ![]() Brian |
