FTP multiple file upload problem
When Im trying to ftp multiple files the connection seems to be slowily grinding to a halt - Im on broadband and the general connection seems fine. Also seems mre than happy to send one HUGE file or even a couple of files - Im yet to find out what the upper limit of files to be transferred before it practically gves up - took an hour to send 21 2kb files... !!! have used ws ftp pro and a batch with doc commands.. both have the same trouble
Oh and its fine if I ftp internally to our own web server, just gets upset when it has to go outside in the big bad world!?? have fired off a quick mail tot he ISP to see if they have come across this before.. any hints??? Driving me potty and we really need to have this working |

It may be compatability of your FTP client and your operating system. I had a similar problem using Leech FTP in Windows XP. When I used another client, I had no problems.
