ftp permission problems with my network

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, so, feel free to move if not. I am running warftp server on my windows xp home machine, and have figured out how to allow users to see directories, and files, and change, upload, etc..... the only thing i cant figure out how to do is allow others to do the same things on a shared network drive (on my xp professional machine). Anyone have any idea how i can get around this

is there an extra setting or something i'm missing in the sharing network drives setup? I wouldnt think so, because I can change files from computer to computer, but I'm not too sure what else it could be. any help on this would be appreciated.
