FTP Redirection?
I didn't know where else to post this so here it goes
I need an anonymous ftp which I thought i could setup simply through the space I have on a friends dedicated server. However, it sets the anonymous login to anonymous@domain.net so using just anonymous won't let you log in. However, i need it to log in with just anonymous. I was wondering if there was a way I could redirect maybe a host name or something to a passworded ftp. Could I set up a program to recieve requests on my computer and then forward them to the ftp on the remote server? Could i use a DNS service that has a hostname that would redirect to cheezboy assword@ftp.domain.net ?
I would just use my computers as an ftp if i had the upload bandwidth as i max out at 30kb/s. If anyone has any solutions for me that would be great. Thanks.
