FTP to a html folder
Hello,
I am using vsftp and apache on a Red Hat Linux 8.0 system. When I use ftp as one of the users it takes me to the users home directory, is there a way to change it so that they go to the folder with all the apahce's html files? Thank you |

Well you could setup a chroot jail... Each user would need hts/her own /bin and simple utilities like rm, ls, etc. Some library too, I forget the name. This would also have the benefit of making sure users stay in their directory, and don't go snooping around on the rest of the server...
