FTP Uploading Problems

I have been using FTP for a while, and now I am unable to upload images, to any of my websites. I can still upload some html files but all image uploads timeout.

I just changed my hardware setup so Im guessing that this is where the problem lies.

I am using a dynamic IP cable internet service throught a linksys router.

There is no timeout error code, it just says that the request has timed out.

Timeout is set to 90 seconds, which should be plenty of time for a small 2kb image. I'm uploading in ASCII so I know it should be working. I can connect fine, I just cant upload. I can also edit folders and files, CHMOD, just about anything except upload images.

We have several different web servers that our sites are on, with independent companies, so I know that the problem is not a server issue. I've also tried reinstalling SmartFTP and I don't get any different results.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you try uploading as a binary?

I can't even get it to connect
so I manually uploaded phpbb by hand
