Arrow Ftp works but http doesn't
I am new in webhosting and ftp so I found out that I can use my pc as server. So i got ftp to work and even connected my domain from godaddy to my ip server. But http doesnt work. What do i have to fix? And also I cant edit permisions it says that server doesnt support changing permisions.

How are you connecting to the site, though IP address or domain name?
DNS takes up to 12 hours I think to refresh, so if you have just changed a domain name to a new IP you will have to wait a wee while.
You are hosting on your own PC? Can you explain a bit more exactly where you are trying to connect to? If the domain you refer to is your username, then I can see the site btw.

I am trying to host on my own pc. I have web hosting with godaddy and there i host muzdom.com. now using dns on that webhost i created sub domain tv.muzdom.com and pointed it to my ip adress 2 days ago. ftp works. for example i go to ftp://tv.muzdom.com. or ftp://my ip and it work. But I dont get why http://tv.muzdom.com and http://my ip does not work.
By the way when i go to my ftp, in my files i cant edit permissions with right click of a mouse. It says something like: This server doesn't support changing permissions

what error do you get on http? and do you have any http server running?
