Unhappy HOw to create a ftp

i'm new to the site but i have a question i hope someone can answer.
I want to create a ftp on my home computer so people i know can acess files i have and upload straight to there computer.

Specs
I'm running XP home
I have 75 free gigs of space on the drive i want to use as the ftp it part of a 137 gig drive that i partitioned in to two separate drives but like i said the one i want to use has 75 free gigs..
my internet is cable
Is it possible to create my own ftp straight off my computer or not..
Any help is appriciated.,

you will nee to set up an ftp server. you can use something like IIS.

you didn't finish your post, you forgot to to include "if you want your computer hacked and generally rooted up."

Also IIS will only install on the Pro version of WinXP. For Home edition you need to use a 3rd party one anyhow.

This one seems to be quite good.

Very true. You may be better off running openSSH for windows and creating accounts and having your users come in using sftp.
