IP limitations on FTP connection
Hi there,
I'm trying to FTP on some chinese hosting IP connecting from a client in my University Campus, but I receive the following:

ERROR: time out and Could not retrieve directory listing

I've tried PASV(on/off), but still got the error, plus I don't have any firewall installed.

anybody can help?

P.S. I still can connect on one european IP, and using www.net2ftp.com I can connect also to the chinese ones

Hi,

what ftp client & what OS are you running on?

Try using the filezilla ftp client.
