KERBEROS_V4 Rejected

When I ftp to my host machine I receive the following errors.
The FTP server seems to work properly after I log in. Does anyone have any clue about these errors?

> 500 AUTH not understood
> 500 AUTH not understood
> KERBEROS_V4 Rejected as an authentication type

I am able to get files from the machine, but I wish to remove this error from happening. If the FTP is working properly why am I getting this error? How do I remove this bug?
