Currently I rent the Linux hosting (PHP and Mysql)from one company. I have only one FTP account,password. My webpage is related to many member login. I am going to write a web-based ftp PHP homepage to allow authorised member upload/download/delete the file from the server. Is is possible to do that ?

Yes, you can do it with Perl or PHP. Please check out http://www.scriptsearch.com/

In case you wanna use Perl, you can try FTP.pm found in libnet-1.0703.tar.gz packages.
