Moving multiple files
Hi there, I have a problem where I write a FTP bash script on a UNIX box to get multiple file from a server. The problem is, after I get the file, I want to move it to another directory as a back-up file. Unfortunately, I can’t find a command a FTP command to move the multiple files at one time. I have tried “rename” command but it just happen to move a single file. Please help or advice..

Hi,
I'm not sure whether this is what you're looking for, but the FTP command to copy multiples files is either mput or mget. Look here: http://cc.uoregon.edu/policy/ftp_unix.html#Xnix95676 Regards, Jaime
