need help with correct user/group for Apache2+ProFTPd
Hi!
Can someone tell me what is the best+correct way to setup user/group for Apache and ProFTPd? Curently Apache2 running under apache:apache and ProFTPd as proftpd roftpd (user:group). So, now I'm little bit confused: when I upload files throught FTP as annonimous, owner:group of the files become whatever ProFTPd is running under (in my case its proftpd roftpd or as username:username if I loggedin to the ftp as a user, not annonimous). So, that makes me confused, will this be any problems for Apache to manipulate with existing files/folder or create new ones (ofcourse if set correct CHMOD), because its running under different user:group ? Thanks! |
