need help with FTP on Network

I have set up an FTP server using IIS on a win2k machine,
i can conect through my LAN but not through the WEB.
i have configured my BELKIN router for a virtual server using
my sys ip of 192.168.2.39 and set it for port 21 what else do i need to do?

My sys:192.168.2.39
Sys 2:192.168.2.22
Router:192.168.2.1
Modem:192.168.2.255
Real IP:68.118.14.127

It seems like the only thing not allowing the connection is my
Belkin router.
The seccond computer can access the FTP using our real IP
68.118.14.127 and my LAN IP 192.168.2.39 but the outside web cant.

I hope you have figured out the problem by now...
I will cover the items not specified in your post.

- (High probability of problem) Out side of your network to hit your FTP you use the main router out IP not an internal server IP and the router passes the called to the appropriate machine.
- Make sure IIS is using the port 21 for FTP. By default it does so if you didn’t change that you ok.
- Verify when you configured your Belkin router you opened port 21 pointing to the machine serving your FTP not the other machine.
- Do not type a port number when attempting to make a FTP connection.

I would provide an example of a good ftp call however you specify your Real IP and Modem IP and I am confused at what you meant by those two numbers...
Modem Hands Router an IP
Router becomes that IP
Router gives machines on network IP’s
Your Belkin router’s IP the one you use to access the Belkin setup/advanced configuration is the Modem/real IP.
