    Ive created a PHP FTP Client.
    I can Upload make dirs etc etc
    Everything except download files.

    I when a user selects Download, I want the PHP server to retrieve the file, them send it to their browser.
    However, if its HTML (for example), I DONT want their browser to display it, just prompt to download the file.

    So if a gif is sent, the browser doesnt display it, it prompts to download it.

    Im guessing theres a Header for this, but I cant find it.

    Thanks,
    Sparky

    Try this:

    Header("Content-type: application/octet-stream");

    I haven't tried it but I know that's the 'Content-type' apache uses for download headers.
