Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am new to FTP servers Im starting to think its not worth it LOL I am using Serv-U with DSL connection Im not real sure if I Have everything set up correct or not I followed the
setup exactly thing is I can connect to the FTP server from my computer through IE but when I try to connect to the server from another computer it gives me an error saying windows can not open this folder (details)timed out Any help will be very helpful I have read though many forums and cant find anything that might help

I figured it out after about 2 weeks worth of research the new bellsouth westell wirespeed DSL modem has to be configured to port fowarding I knew a router had to be fowarded but the MODEM!!! you cant even play some games because the modem blocks ports anyway here is a link that might be of help to more than just me URL
