Problem accessing FTP

I didn't have a problem accessing it yesterday but now it is saying "An FTP error occurred- cannot make connection to host" when I try to access on dreamweaver.

This is what I'm getting when I use FileZilla

Response: 331 Please specify the password.

Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server

Have you check your firewall settings? Or you may try to make the new username and please refer to our blog.

I have the same problem for some days and now I am facing problem. I have the access details of my control panel and my hosting account. I had reset my FTP as I was not able to access the same and the new account details were came but the its not working with filezilla. I have tried to reconfigure in Cpanel but still its not working. Shall I contact the hosting provider or any suggestion from anybody.
