programming of programs like kazaa, imesh, ftp, etc...
I was just wondering what programming language(s) are used to make programs like kazaa, imesh, like ftp programms, that sotra stuff. I woudl be really interested to know what is used to make that stuff.

Most likely MS Visual C++ if its windows program. If they are console/DOS programs a normal C compiler can be used.

I guess that mostly any language will do it (heck if VB can do it any proggy can do it!).

Well VB says it can do it, but trying to produce the goods doesnt happen that often

'sockets' are what all the apps mentioned have in common.
Can be used in most languages (inc VB) Most are probably written in C++ / C and / or some ASM.
