Running FTP server in a Lan
hi there, i got a prob about setting up my ftp server in a LAN at office...I would like to setup a FTP server in my computer, my computer is not a server, but it's in a LAN. so is it possible for me to connect outside ( for instance at home ) connecting to the server in my office then connecting to mty computer...
if that's not possible, what alternative should i have (excluding the setting up of FTP server exactly at our server) thanks in advanced |

Yes you can first telnet/ssh to any proxy server in the LAN and then you can ftp to your computer
