    Serious FTP problems...

I cannot connect to one of my sites, and have tried it on multiple PCs and keep getting errors. The error I get from Core FTP LE is "PORT command failed Error loading directory..."

I got my netbook to connect via Windows Explorer, but as soon as I tried transferring files, I got a "The connection with the server was reset" error.

    Any suggestions?

I can FTP to another site just fine.

    THanks in advance!

I've had problems with the PORT command before. It's possible the server computer is behind a firewall - what operating system / server software are you running? If you're using Linux, you may need to create an exception using iptables. If your computer is behind a router there may be a firewall on that. Try configuring the server to use a specific range of ports (they should all be larger than 50000 to avoid conflict with other applications), then open this range of ports in the firewall.
