Arrow Set up ftp (in apache)
Hi,

We are in the process of setting up a linux server for our computer class. We want to set up an ftp server. Is there any way we can do this in apache? Please help us out and point us in the right direction.

We need to set up a non-anonymous ftp server.

apahce is a web server, not ftp. But you can check out ftp servers, either proftpd or pureftpd

Just pick one that you like better. Make sure to read their docs to set it up.

I like pureftpd because it's pretty similar for me to set it up.
