Setting up users with WU-FTPD
First off let me say that I'm a complete newbie to WU-FTPD, so an appology in advance to any seemingly silly questions. Here we go...
I just signed up with an online hosting company, who set up WU-FTPD for me, under Red Hat 7.3. I'm trying to configure an administrator user account, one that allows me to read / write from the whole HDD. I realize this is discouraged, and the hosting company may have tried to disable this, but I'm trying to get a site up, and need to FTP as soon as possible.
Does anyone know a good online guide to setting up user accounts with WU-FTPD, or is there a quick way to outline how to do this? I'm relatively new to Linux, though I feel I have a decent hold on the OS. This may be more of a Red Hat problem then a WU-FTPD on.
All help is very much appreciated.
