Uploads A Few Files Then Permission Error
Hello,
When trying to upload to a client's FTP site, I can upload a few files, then get the following error message:

An error occurred copying a file to the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to put files on the server.

Details:
200 Type set to I.
200 PORT command successful.
500 'OR 39.jpg': command not understood

This happens using a newly installed IE 7 and Smart FTP, uploading different sets of files, so it's not just that one file.

Does anyone know what could be the problem?

Check with the FTP servers Admin that you have write/modify permissions on the folder you are trying to ftp into.
