What does this mean - How do I find my ports?

I received this email asking me the following:

"can you provide the ports that 81.44.43.43 should be given access to on xxxxx?

How do I find out the ports?

Thanks

FTP uses default port of 21
Sftp uses default port of 22
You can change these with the port command.

And I believe for Ftps:
Explicit SSL(ftps) uses default port of 21
Implicit SSL(ftps) used default port of 990

Another item you should take into consideration is if your FTP server is active or passive, as in this second case you'd open a range of ports.
