Why text file has additional symbol
Hi,
I would like to find how to resolve the additional symbol in text file at the end of each line. I have transferred a text file to the server where each field is separated with a deliniter. at the end of the each line somehow it has additional symbol like small rectangle box. Thank you

is it coming from a windows -> linux or visa versa? if so its the way different operating systems end text files.
maybe try setting the ftp mode to binary,a s ascii mode does end of line translations have a read of this Displeaser
