    No solution, no FTP

    Hello.

I can not FTP from my home network. I am out of options and need ideas.

I'm used several different FTP clients, the result are "no host" or "server unreachable", etc.

I called my hosting service and they say everything is fine on their end. I've attempted to ftp to other accounts, with no change.

I called my internet provider and they said there is not issue on their end.

I switched to a secondary mac tower, no change. I switched to a pc, no change, same results.

Port 21 tests do not appear to go through.

I replaced my modem/router with a newer Motorola SBG901. No change.

I am out of ideas. please anyone help!

...via the boards, I have attempted both active and passive ftp options, with no change.
...I attempted editing firefox about:config, no effect.

Have you tried different servers as well, or just trying to connect to the same server?

Have you tried different browsers? (IE, Chrome, Safari, etc..)
