Connect FTP client to Z host via Y host

    Hi ..

I can connect from fileZilla(Windows) to one linux server(Y). And Linux server(Y) can connect to other Linux server (Z). But how can I connect directly from fileZilla to Linux Server(Z) . As linux server(z) can only be connected via Linux Server(Y).

    Need help... Please anyone....

If you have SSH access to server Y then you can create a tunnel over SSH using an SSH client like Putty. Putty will establish a local proxy port for connections that need to be routed over server Y. You can then configure FileZilla to use that proxy and connect directly to the IP of server Z.

If you only have normal FTP access to server Y then this can't be done.
