2D DirectX literature
Hello.
I'm looking for a good book on DirectX programming, similar in quality to the O'Reilly programming books. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, O'Reilly doesn't have a DirectX book. Specifically, I'm not interested in game programming; I'm considering converting a CAD application from GDI to DirectX, and I'll need a book that has really good 2D content, examples, and reference. If the book incorporates .NET 2.0 or 3.0, that's a big plus. Thanks! Colin

If you are planning on doing direct X in C# then you should check out XNA. Since MDX is no longer supported.
