A login program for an online game?

Can someone guide me through how to get a login program because a friend of mine is starting to make an online game and i'd like to help so if you know a website that can help or if you can help send me and e-mail or post here. If you can i also need help in a registration program for the game. thanks

I'm sorry I can't provide any general tutorials/articles, but I found this PHP article, really good, if you just know PHP, but I guess you can understand the whole thing as they explain what's happening in every part.

It would all really depend on what kind of login script, for a website for the game, etc... in what language, there are many factors, we need more info.

Erm, we mean you tell us the factors. You want a login program and registration program, right? What kind of program? Is it on the web? On the computer? Portable? What kind of cryptography/security issues do you have to consider? What is the format of the game, programming language of the game?

Let me repeat: You need to tell us much more about the game, the context, and what you are expecting.
