Legacy of the Zodiac EX (2D MMORPG)

Hey, this is Scythe the owner of LoZ EX. This thread is here to introduce you all to my MMORPG also so I can get feedback on what I have done with it so far.

LoZ EX is short for Legacy of the Zodiac EX. Our host is DarkDragoon who has the server up 24/7 unless something happens like the power goes out, he's running on a Windows XP with a recently upgraded to 1 gig of RAM (he had 256 MBs before @_@). LoZ EX is made with the X-Realms engine which is made using Mirage Source 0.0.1 but most of the original MS code has been altered. We have 700+ Awesome Maps. We have a great community, usually have 20+ people on. Usually no less than 15. This version of LoZ, LoZ EX has been around since February 2006 and is still growing and getting better day by day. If you download it and try it I'm sure you will become addicted to it. LoZ EX is a 2D MMORPG where you can do many different things, embark on a quest, duel another player, join a guild/clan, be in a clan war, maybe even a castle siege .

Haven Harbor/Warf - Complete

Haven(Town) - Complete.

Haven Outskirts/Haven Shore - Complete unless more is added.

LoZ(Ocean) - Complete until we need more maps of the ocean.

Crescent Mountain - Complete.

Crescent Cave - Almost Complete.

Haven Sewers - Complete.

City of Nara - Complete.

Outskirts of Nara - Complete unless we need to add more.

Nara Swamps - Complete.

Nara Mines - Completed, we may add more maps.

Nara Caverns - Completed more maps may be added.

Kenshi Village - Complete.

Ryoko - Completed, more is being added to the back end.

Ryushin Mountains - Complete.

Shinjoku - Complete.

The East - Lots of it is made but Aoishi is still working on it.

Sub Zero IceField - Part before Sub Zero complete.

Sub Zero (Town) - Outsides done.

Sub Zero (Town Insides) - Most are done, others aren't needed yet.

Zhu Jin (Southern Continent) - Finished except for the Highlands Village, a few high level quests are done here or parts of them are done here.

The West - This is the area in between Ryoko and Kenshi, Im still working hard on it, it isn't fully finished yet.

Granemor Mountains - 1/4 of the Mountain is complete.

Granemor Valley - The Southern Valley is complete.

City of Holy Light - Complete.

Alkanor - Has about 15 maps completed, I'm still working on it, it's a beautiful city full of waterfalls and flowing water and it uses some of the tiles from the newest update it's looking very good.

Zhu Jin Underground - Completed, mapped by Amnesia

Southern Sub Zero - The Southern Mountain Decent that brings you to the Sub Zero Icefield; being worked on by Lateralus.

Sub Zero Icefield - Will be made by me and Lateralus when the Southern Sub Zero is completed.

are those one of those drag and drop mmo makers? or is there programming involved?

From what i can gather it uses scripting extensivly. Youll find more info on their forums

Pretty sweet, but isn't this for game help and not game advertisement?

It's a good job though. Better than what I've made, but I don't really like drag and drop game creation.

I agree, it is (this forum) for game development and not advertisment or feedback, but if it makes people aware of x-realms. cool.

Nice, I like it. Shouldve rea dthe controls thongy thoguh ^^. Reminds me of the BYOND Engine with Mystic Journey. Dunno if byond is still up n running.
