Looking for a .Dat editor

tryed but not work

if you help me with this you will be my idol





i want to edit the ip to login in the server

There is no standard for .dat files. When you are creating program specific data, you need an extension in windows. It's not uncommon to use .dat.

You won't find a .dat editor because there isn't one. One program's .dat file isn't going to be the same as another. If you want to edit the .dat file, you'll need to edit the binary, usually through a hex editor.

no because we have no idea what you are trying to edit in it, also most programs check the CRC of the dat files before loading and if it doesn't compare right it won't load it.

Only if the dat file stores ascii data. Usually it's just any sort of data represented in binary. For which you will need a binary editor.
