Well, i've heard that you can mod games (not like halo2 or other things but pretty much change up charcters etc.) From what i've resaerched i heard that you could mod a games called battlefield 2142 or something like that. If you can how do you? What kind of software?

I'd say check the BF 2142 forums they would have the info, I'm assuming you are asking about making a new mod etc.. and not a trainer and cheats. If so then feel free to continue to discuss.
I have a friend who made a mod for it, it changed how the flag capturing works. we normally play this for our LAN games.

you mean like make another Game out of one's engine like Half-Life into Counter Strike? Don't Forget that game was basically a mod.
