i recommend getting a host it will be a lot faster and you dont have your pc on all the time which can cost some money on electricity for best results get a game server from Game servers.com

512kbps sounds terrible for a game server (unless the game uses a lobby -- don't worry about this if you have no clue what a lobby is). My upload speed is 2mbps and even that has proven to not be efficient.

I disagree. This post is related to the development of [computer] games. Knowing how fast an internet's connection speed should be is something game developers for the computer should be informed of. He wanted to know whether or not his upload speed was sufficient enough, and I told him that it was not. I myself do not know what a good recommendation would be, however I do know that my own speed of 2mbps is not sufficient for many or most cases.
Do NOT (especially in a message typed with CAPS) ask for a moderator to delete a thread when you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. This IS game oriented and is NOT another "kiddie gamer thread".
